My Chemical Romance have revealed just who will be sitting behind the kit when they play their long-awaited reunion show next month.
By now, you’re probably well aware of the fact that emo icons My Chemical Romance are set to play their first concert in over seven years just next month.
Having announced their split back in 2013, the band revealed on October 31st that they’re back with a vengeance, sharing a one-off headline show in Los Angeles, before topping the Australian Download Festival lineup amid shows in New Zealand and Japan.
However, the question that was on the lips of fans was in regards to who would be taking on percussion duties for their upcoming shows.
After the departure of drummer Bob Bryar in 2010, the group never formally announced a replacement, with Michael Pedicone briefly filling the role before Jarrod Alexander took over for their final performances, including their appearance at the 2012 Big Day Out festival.
Now, an article from Billboard has revealed just who will be sitting behind the skins when My Chemical Romance take to the stage next month.
Sharing a speculative article about what the dream setlist for My Chemical Romance’s comeback show would be, author Chris Payne later noted that representatives for the band have confirmed that Jarrod Alexander will again be serving as the band’s drummer next month.

However, while Alexander has been confirmed for the Los Angeles show, it’s currently unknown whether he will carry this role over to 2020 when the band make their long-awaited return to Australian shores.
Whatever the case, fans are undoubtedly beginning to write up their own dream setlists for the band’s upcoming appearance at the Download Festival in 2020. Check out all the details below.
