The ultimate in twee indie pop, Belle & Sebastian have been announced on the Golden Plains line-up – already shaping up to be a highlight of 2011. Fey boys in op shop polyester pants and cardigans, and girls with bobs adorned with hair clasps and wearing Mary Jane shoes and pinafores will be rejoicing in the news that they’ll be joining other headliners Os Mutantes, Hawkwind, Joanna Newsom and The Hold Steady.
