The Summer of Music series returned to the Kings Cross Hotel for a second consecutive year in November. Electronic duo Kllo will now help bring the series to a close, headlining a bumper event on the second weekend of March.

KXH and BACARDI have been behind a whole bunch of parties, live music performances and special events all Summer long. The aim was simple – to celebrate live music, dancing and self-expression. Now, as the rain settles in and the trees start to weary, they’re putting the series to bed for another year. But not before a massive closing party takes over three levels of KXH on March 14.

They’ve teamed up with FBi Radio and Motorik to curate a lineup headlined by R&B/UK garage revivalists Kllo. Kllo were just announced on the Splendour in the Grass 2020 lineup and released their debut album Backwater in 2017.

The New York Times praised the duo’s “bass-heavy beats,” which create “a pleasantly enveloping effect that works well on headphones and even better on a darkened dance floor.”

Kllo will be DJing on level four, while storied party-starters Motorik & Friends are bringing the noise to level three. Tune selectors include Motorik Vibe Council, Francis Xavier, Mclean & Mai and Chloe & Reenie.

A standout feature of KXH’s Summer of Music is the Hotel’s famed rooftop setting. FBi Radio are taking over the rooftop for the closing party, where you’ll get to see live sets from Glo, Jessica Jade and Zeadala, as well as DJ sets from Honeypoint and Latifa Tee.

It’s set to be a heck of a time in one of the Cross’ most spirited and sympathetic party locations. It kicks off at 9pm on Saturday March 14, and it’s completely free.
