Slayer track ‘Raining Blood’, has been which has been reimagined into an emo trap song, and it’s definitely… interesting.

Italian YouTuber Red Sky recently took it upon himself to create the unusual fusion featuring elements of the Slayer classic, telling website MetalSucks he did “just for a joke and challenging myself.”

While my Italian is admittedly a little rusty and my knowledge on emo trap is somewhat limited, the end result is vastly different to the OG Slayer track, with the infamous intro riff able to be heard at the start of the remixed version, though the rest of the mix doesn’t seem to mimic the legendary tune.

Take a listen of the reimagined track below, but skip until around9.36 if you want to get straight to the son’s recreation.

Red Sky is just the latest Italian to pay tribute to Slayer’s 1986 hit (yes really), with a video recently surfacing of Enrico Monti of Italian death metal band Skulld rocking out on his balcony in Bertinoro and serenading neighbours with a rendition of Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’.
