Sydney-based guitar-wizard PLINI has announced he is set to tour this July to celebrate the release of his latest album Impulse Voices

Following a year of show postponements and cancellations, PLINI revealed his excitement over finally being able to hit the road again to perform in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

“It was definitely a little strange releasing a new album without being able to celebrate it with live shows, but being able to announce these three (and hopefully more soon) has me and my band over the moon! Going to be practising like crazy, putting together a new setlist… I’m even a little excited just to coil cables after the shows. See you all soon!” he said in a statement.

Each of the shows will be supported by Stephen Taranto and his band, who will be playing music from his critically-acclaimed EP Permanence for the first time ever.

As if that wasn’t enough, PLINI and Taranto will also be hosting a music masterclass and Q&A session before each show, offering fans the chance to ask about their approaches to performing, songwriting, creativity and more.

Since PLINI’s debut album Handmade Cities was voted #5 in Guitar World Magazine’s ’20 best guitar albums of the decade’, it seems safe to say he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to the music business.

PLINI is certainly no stranger to accolades, given he was also named #4 in the Top 10 best prog guitarists in the world today” by Music Radar early last year.
