A David Bowie album with new music from ‘The Man Who Sold the World’ era is dropping soon

The ears of the world are about to be graced with brand new, previously unreleased David Bowie music. Are you ready for it?

We’re about to be gifted one of the most amazing offerings of 2021: new David Bowie music.

As reported by Consequence of SoundParlophone will be releasing 21 unreleased songs from The Man Who Sold the World era, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic album.

The fresh release will be titled The Width of a Circle and will be a two-disc set which has the works, think a BBBC In Concert session, the accompanying music for a TV play called Pierrot in Turquoise, remixes from Tony Visconti, one of Bowie’s longtime collaborators, as well as, drum roll… new singles!

The Width of a Circle is due for release next month on the 28th of May. See below for the full track list from the double CD release.

Single mix released on March 6, 1970 on Mercury Records MF 1135. This is the unreleased alternative mix created for promotion in the US market.

Originally recorded and rejected as the follow up single to “Space Oddity”. This mono mix was finally released on the Sound & Vision box set in 1989.

3. London Bye, Ta-Ta, 1970 Stereo Mix (previously unreleased)
This stereo mix of the above remained unreleased until the reformatted reissue of the Sound & Vision box set in 2003, replacing the mono mix.
