Aussie rockers The Veronicas have blasted Celebrity Apprentice, accusing the show of selective editing.
Twin sisters Jess and Lisa Origliasso – who are contestants on the rebooted Nine reality show – took aim at the series over social in a fiery tweet on Wednesday that read: “Celeb Apprentice, why are you not airing any of our wins & strategy for each task, only using the scripted drama you GAVE us as the only airtime /promo?
“Where’s all the footage where we pull through for our team /and for our charity? Why is all of that being edited out?” The Veronicas wrote.

While several users pointed out that editing to drum up some drama is generally expected on reality shows, others were quick to rush to the defence of The Veronicas, including fellow singer Kira Piru.
“Give our girls the bad edit and we are gonna be out for blood,” Piru replied.

Another fan added: “Definitely noticed a lack of screen time for you guys and them lying about the Welcome to Country ceremony you arranged is just gross! They’re doing you dirty and it’s so undeserved. Honesty IS entertaining.”
A third declared: “Those damn bastards!!!! Give our girls and their charity what they deserve!!!”
While the show is only a few eps in, the pair have already stirred controversy upon their debut, with the first episode showing the duo butting heads with one another.
“My patience is getting thin, so if you know what needs to be said please say it,” Jess told Lisa in the episode, to which her sister snapped back: “You’re being a bit much.”
The twins released a statement after the episode aired, writing: “We can’t believe we actually need to preface this: But reality TV is highly edited out of ‘context’ to amplify drama. And the narrative that suits the agenda. Please use common sense and understand this is obviously not a transparent show – it’s game show entertainment.
“The only ‘business’ in this show is the business of entertainment and drama … don’t get confused about what this is. And we will continue to bring you the laughs and relatability.”
