Sebastian Bach, the unmistakable original voice of Skid Row, is preparing to return to Australian shores this November for a special tour celebrating the band’s iconic self-titled debut album.
This marks a significant moment for Australian fans, as Bach will be performing the groundbreaking debut album in its entirety for the first time in the country. The 1989 self-titled release that catapulted Skid Row to international fame will be brought to life by the voice that made it legendary.
Fans can anticipate an electrifying performance featuring all the album’s classic tracks, including “Youth Gone Wild”, “18 and Life”, “Big Guns”, and the power ballad “I Remember You”. These tracks helped define the hard rock and heavy metal landscape of the late ’80s and continue to resonate with rock and metal fans today.
Bach’s recent performances of the album have garnered significant acclaim worldwide. Cobras and Fire described Bach’s live shows as “an energy-filled 90 minutes of pure RNF’nR.” The Music noted that Bach performs “not missing a note or beat, with his distinct voice blasting through the PA and sounding as good as it did on the original recording.”
Classic Rock Reviewed wrote,”This wasn’t someone who’d scrubbed his voice clean for mass appeal; this guy was from somewhere. And this was a guy who went for it, full tilt, with everything he sang.”
Beyond the full album performance, each show will include an encore featuring selections from across Bach’s extensive career, including material from Skid Row’s second album Slave to the Grind as well as songs from his solo catalogue.
