Last week we brought you the terrible news that the Worst Song In The World may have been recorded by Californian ‘artist’ Rebecca Black. The video for the song has become a Youtube viral sensation because the song is JUST. SO. BAD. – and even though it’s a bit mean to subject you to the awful song again, we have found footage of her performing the song in an acoustic ‘stripped back’ mode.

Let’s set the scene. She’s ‘singing’ the inane song on ABC America’s Good Morning America. It’s in a ‘house’ where several embarrassed session musos are accompanying her while reminding themselves that their performance fee will help them pay the rent next week. In fact they can barely keep a straight face. Black opens her mouth and it sounds like a chipmunk has been hidden inside her as she stands there looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Then, just as the hideous song reaches its toe-curlingly awful conclusion, Black decides to try and do the big finale by drawing out the last word of the song. This could be okay if the song was any good, but in this clip, Black manages to hold the last word for a good 15 seconds  – completely and utterly out of tune.  It sounds like a couple of seagulls fighting over a sandwich.
