Cram seven musically-inclined kids onto a stage, give them their favourite instrument and this is what you get. Admittedly one of my favourite live bands circulating in Melbourne at the moment. It’s Animaux!
It’s a septet of kids (the youngest not legal to play a gig in a licensed venue without a parents being present), who simply love to jam and make people dance. Alex Lahey the lead singer, is a bundle of joy with charisma and talent way beyond her years. Wave of Change has a big jazz band sound with a big fat brass section to match.
