The late James Brown, who died on Christmas Day in 2006 from heart failure, may have in fact been murdered according to the singers publicist.

Jacque Hollander believes the hardest working man in show business was murdered and that she has since been forced into hiding after receiving death threats for going public with her claims. She revealed in an interview with trashy US tabloid The Globe that she has hired a private detective to investigate the death and that he believes a larger conspiracy may exist.

Brown’s son-in-law Darren Lumar, who also made similar claims, was killed in 2008 after appear on local TV where he said “There’s not a bone in my body that believes my father-in-law died from congestive heart failure.”

Hollandar says Lumar was murdered because he had uncovered the conspiracy. “He was going to tell the truth about what was done to James Brown, Now I am living in fear of my life because I’m the one who can bring forth the truth.”
