The Rolling Stones are well into the twilight of their careers, and it doesn’t appear they’ll be touring for the rest of their lives given the recent falling out between Keith Richards and Mick Jagger. Which presents a problem, how do they continue to fund their extravagant and outlandish lifestyles they’ve enjoyed all their lives? By mining their back catalogue and releasing box sets.

Last year they remastered and released classic album Exile On Main Street to much critical acclaim, and this year just in time for Christmas they’ll be rereleasing Some Girls. Included in the box set are a number of goodies for fans, but perhaps most interesting is a previously unreleased song the Stones have decided to include named ‘No Spare Parts’.

In the late 1970’s when Some Girls was first released the Stones were at the peak of their careers and were churning out hit after hit. At the time ‘No Spare Parts’ just didn’t make the cut, but probably holds up against some of the groups later efforts.

The new edition of Some Girls hits stores on November 21st. You can have a listen to ‘No Spare Parts’ below.
