AC/DC are to release a new live album which was recorded in Argentina in December 2009. The CD/DVD release was recorded at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires in front of a crowd of 60,000 people. Singer Brian Jonhnson says “We’ve got a new live album which we shot in Argentina at the end of the last tour, which was about September. The live album comes out, with the video of those concerts, in about six weeks or something. So I’m looking forward to that.”
However Johnson wouldn’t be drawn on whether we can expect to see any live action from the band in a hurry. “After that [the live release] we haven’t made any plans,” he said. “We just want to have a rest, because we were on the road for two years. We played in front of five million people, and we deserve a rest.”
