No matter how you look at it, Action Bronson has done some pretty strange stuff during his live performances. Whether it be throwing a TV into the audience, taking a bathroom break (while still rapping), or throwing a fan offstage, audience members are hardly surprised by any of his actions these days.
However, it seems that his latest stunt might have crossed the line with law enforcement, after the New York rhyme-slinger was arrested after lighting up a joint while performing in Kosovo.
During a performance of his song ‘Terry’ at the Sunny Hill festival on Saturday, Action Bronson stopped during his set and decided to partake in his routine activity of smoking up. After lighting up, taking a few puffs, and flicking the joint into the crowd, the rapper was reportedly arrested by police, who clearly aren’t fans of such a behaviour.
As TMZ notes, it appears that the rapper has since posted bail, because he’s already been released from custody, with a police spokesperson noting he was released after an interview with the prosecutor.
Incidentally, this incident comes only just a matter of weeks after marijuana led to Action Bronson’s new look, with the rapper cutting off his signature beard after trying out a rather strong strain.
“I was high out of my mind…it was this new strain,” he explained back in June. “I never have clippers in my house for this reason. I usually call somebody to come help me out and come do that.”
“I just started trimming and it went bad, it went awry,” Action Bronson revealed. “I tried to give it a fade, I tried to make it slim. I couldn’t stop, and then I ended up looking like Hulk Hogan in the face.”
While it’s not clear if Action Bronson is still in any sort of legal trouble or if he is indeed free, we have a feeling that this won’t be the last time he decides to spark up onstage.
