Mercury retrograde ended this week, and as such we are all going to need a healthy dose of good; God knows we’ve earned it. Well, Good has come in droves this morning, with our beloved studio dweller and habitual party starter Alison Wonderland sharing a stripped back performance of current single Peace, and it’s nothing short of absolutely stunning.

The performance was plotted and recorded in studio in Hollywood called Gold Diggers. If you detect a sense of authenticity, or genuineness it’s because there really is no smoke and mirrors to this acoustic performance, or the overproduction factor we’re used to seeing from Hollywood Studios. Nup, none of that: Peace (Acoustic) was the result of one afternoon of scheming and jamming.

What you’re about to watch below is nothing short of lightening being caught in a bottle.

Alison Wonderland’s damn hear flawless vox are flanked by a troupe of amazing musicians including Chet Porter on Keys, Peace co-writer Jake Torrey on the timber and steel with added oomph brought by an electric guitar and cello.

Having risen at a meteoric pace, Alison Wonderland is yet to reach her cruising altitude. Throughout her career, she’s been the highest billed female artist at Coachella, ever, sold out 2x Red Rocks shows and shifted nearly a million tickets throughout North America alone and has enjoyed something like 400 billion million gazillion streams to date.

So far this year, Alison Wonderland has dropped the aforementioned Peace, with a series of remixes as well as Lost My Mind, also flanked with some flipped versions. These come hot on the hells of her previous record, 2018’s Awake.

One things for sure, fans are not starved of content. Far from it – we are but humble monks and will accept whatever it is Wonderland gifts us.

Watch the performance here and keep your finger to the pulse to catch what’s next from Ms. Wonderland.
