Melbourne alt/pop punk outfit All Regards are pushing into heavier territory on their latest single, “resist”, a brooding follow-up to their January release “discontent”.
Out now, “resist” marks the band’s second release of 2026 and leans into a darker, weightier sound, led by co-vocalist Jeremy Allen. It arrives as part of a paired creative statement alongside “discontent”, with both tracks set to be celebrated at a double single launch show at Melbourne’s Workers Club on Friday, March 27th.
The two songs are closely connected, both thematically and in their creation. Co-vocalist Stefan Sepulveda describes the releases as carrying “a real call to action to get out and create positive change in whatever ways you can,” with the tracks moving through “feelings of anxiety, apathy, anger and hope in response to the state of the world and the passage of time.”
Allen expands on that connection, explaining how “resist” was written as a direct response to “discontent”.
“I wrote the lyrics for ‘resist’ as a direct response to the lyrics Stefan wrote for ‘discontent’ in which he wrote about the state of the world from his perspective,” he says. “It inspired me to do the same which is why both singles are so intrinsically linked together.”

He continues: “‘resist’ for the most part is an honest take on how frustrated one can become with external and internal factors within the world, and that it may not be the picture perfect life planned out for one’s self. It’s also a call to arms that if there is something you want to change to better yourself and you have the power to do it, quit complaining and fight the good fight to turn things around.”

Both singles were created in collaboration with Jack Newlyn (Between You & Me, Belle Haven), who handled production, engineering and mixing. Sonically, the band continue to pull from pop punk and alt-rock foundations, pairing sharp guitar work and punchy drums with hook-driven melodies and dual vocals from Allen and Sepulveda.
All Regards have been steadily building momentum on the back of their live reputation. Their shows have drawn strong local support, including sold-out headline gigs such as their debut EP launch at Bergy Bandroom in late 2024, while sharing stages with acts like SoSo, Belle Haven, Down And Out and Darcy Baker.
