Remember All Saints? They’re that girl group from the late 90s/early 00s that were a slightly less cool and successful Spice Girls. They broke up in 2001 because two of them wanted to wear the same jacket in a photoshoot, then they got back together in 2006. After that didn’t go well they broke up again in 2008, but then they got back together at the end of 2013. It’s been a hectic two decades for the girls.

After their reunion for a bunch of gigs in 2014, the group decided that they’d record a new album – their first almost a decade. Cut to 2016 and the album was out, Red Flag was an experimental production and got some pretty good reviews. However, the album kinda flopped and everywhere outside of the UK which is a shame, it had some good songs on it.

Did they give up?

No. The girls decided they were gonna stick together and give it another go. This means that the group have almost been reunited for five years – a personal best since their origination in 1996.

Now it’s 2018 and the girls have decided it’s time for another album. Testament is slated to be released on the 26th of July, two weeks after originally intended. Three tracks from the album have been released and one of them is so good! Seriously listen to “Three Four” right now

The other two are pretty good as well, just not on the level of that track. However with the majority of the album still yet to be released we can keep our hopes up. But also given their track record, let’s just hope they stay together until the release.
