Australia’s premier music industry conference, BIGSOUND, is making its way to Brisbane’s famous Fortitude Valley this September with a massive lineup of bands, performances, showcases, panel talks, guest speakers, keynote addresses, and parties.

There’ll be over 50 artists taking over 14 incredible venues right in the heart of Brisbane’s live music scene, including the likes of Gang of Youths, Stonefield, Holy Holy, Grenadiers, and many more. So, how’d you like to join them?

Yes, once again Triple J Unearthed are looking for two unsigned artists to join this stacked lineup for established and up-and-coming young bands and artists. This gig could mean big things for your career or that of your band.

Triple J Unearthed are putting on another massive BIGSOUND showcase during this year’s conference and as well as featuring some of their favourite homegrown talent who’ve uploaded to the Triple J Unearthed website, they’re on the hunt for two artists to add to the bill from the Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast regions.

If you’re lucky enough to nab the gig, you’ll not only play the showcase, putting you directly in front career-making smorgasbord of talent scouts, managers, and other industry stakeholders, but you’ll get passes to attend all the BIGSOUND Live gigs and receive two conference passes to boot.

You’ll also be joining the ranks of previous winners, such as The Furrs, one of last year’s winners, who shared the stage with Kucka, Apes, L-FRESH The LION, and Klo, as well as WAAX, who rocked Oh Hello! with Eves The Behaviour, Milwaukee Banks, Little May, and Client Liaison.

In order to be eligible for the 2015 Unearthed slot, you’ll need to have your best tunes uploaded to the Triple J Unearthed website by Sunday, 2nd August. Head to the Unearthed competition page for more details and check below for the full BIGSOUND 2015 lineup.
