Following overwhelming demand for her sold-out visit this week, Audrey Hobert has announced a return to Australia, and her debut in New Zealand, slated for May 2026.

Currently in Australia for two intimate headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne in support of her debut album Who’s the Clown?, Hobert has been on the up and up.

Rolling Stone praised the album as “a thrilling debut from one of pop’s sharpest up-and-coming stars” with a four-star review. Across 12 tracks, produced by Ricky Gourmet and entirely written or co-written by Hobert, the record moves between synth-heavy anthems, glossy heartbreakers, and revealing acoustic cuts.

She’ll return in May 2026, bringing ‘The Staircase to Stardom’ tour to Australia and New Zealand, for the very first time. The tour will kick off at Auckland’s Powerstation on May 9th, followed by Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on May 12th, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on May 16th, and Melbourne’s Forum on May 19th.

Before going solo, Hobert built her reputation as a songwriter alongside childhood friend Gracie Abrams. She co-wrote some of Abrams’ biggest tracks including “That’s So True” and “Risk” for her 2024 album The Secret of Us.

Hobert then signed a publishing deal with Universal Music Group, and went on to co-write for other major artists including Alessi Rose on “Start All Over”.

With her debut album, Hobert is taking centre stage for the first time, showing off a knack for pop hooks matched with sharp, self-aware storytelling. She is taking the album on the road for the remainder of 2025, playing to sold out crowds across the US, UK and Europe, before heading our way for her biggest shows in the region to date.

Pre-sale via Frontier begans at 12pm on Friday, October 3rd, before general release tickets go out at 12pm on Tuesday, October 7th. More information is available here.
