Long-serving Sydney punk outfit Royal Headache have found a decent amount of success recently with tracks like ‘Another World’ tearing up the airwaves, but the band were still astonished to find that they’d actually been invited to play the song live on primetime American TV.

Having just appeared on the pretty notable program in NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, the band told their fans that the whole thing was “ridiculous”, expressing disbelief and thanking the program for “letting (them) on TV”.

Making their TV debut was a pretty nice way to wrap up their US tour – and no doubt a pretty surprising one. They tore through a rendition of their hit track, and it was all over in under two-and-a-half minutes.

While the sound might have been a little bit off, with the vocals hanging very openly at the forefront of the mix, it’s still great to see another Aussie band getting to do their thing in front of a huge US audience.
