It was only a month ago when the news broke that Australia was finally getting our very first musical festival on a cruise ship, and would you believe, the lineup for its maiden voyage has already been announced.

The festival entitled Sea ‘N Beats will see a local crew of talented musicians and DJs make the inaugural event one for the books, headlined by the one and only warehouse party Queen, Alison Wonderland, as the guys at inthemix report.

Sea ‘N Beats will take place from 5 – 8 March in 2016, and will also feature the likes of Bad News Toilet, Discovery, Hayden James, The Kite String Tangle, Hut Dub Time Machine and many more.

The unreal party of the seas will take place on a 2000-capacity sized cruiser with seven stages for artists to perform on. It departs from Brisbane as it makes its way to a “secret island” off Queensland where revellers will jump off for a day of island partying before returning to the northern capital city.

As the website states, onboard you’ll find seven outstanding restaurants and cafes, nine bars, pubs and nightclubs and more than 50-onboard activities not to mention the comfortable accommodation, the pools and spas, day spa, fitness centres and wifi.

Tickets to this bad boy aren’t the cheapest, starting at $960.00 for a bed in a four-sleeping cabin, however this is the very first of its kind in Australia, we’re certain Sea ‘N Beats is going to absolutely kill it, besides, it’s nearly a year away – you’ve got plenty of time to save your pretty pennies.

Pre-sale tickets are available now by signing up to the Sea ‘N Beats newsletter, otherwise regulars are released 9:00am Monday 13 April.
