Axl Rose has accused the Trump campaign of using “loopholes” to play Guns N’ Roses music at rallies without the band’s permission.
Last night, Rose —who has actively expressed his disdain for Trump— went on a Twitter rampage, calling out the President for using his hit song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” without consent. Trump incorporated the Guns N’ Roses classic into a rally in West Virginia on Friday. Check out Rose’s rant below:
Unfortunately the Trump campaign is using loopholes in the various venues’ blanket performance licenses which were not intended for such craven political purposes, without the songwriters’ consent.
Can u say “shitbags?!”💩

Personally I kinda liked the irony of Trump supporters listening to a bunch of anti Trump music at his rallies but I don’t imagine a lot of ‘em really get that or care.

This isn’t the first instance of Trump using music without permission. He’s previously been hit with cease and desists’ from Prince’s estate, Pharrell and Steven Tyler.
