Almost five years to the day since they last visited Australian shores, the mighty Bane are returning to our shores. Coming with them will be an arsenal of epic hardcore anthems and positivity, taken from an almost 20 year career spanning five albums and numerous EPs.
Joining Bane on this April tour will be one of Melbourne’s best-loved melodic hardcore act Hopeless, who will be bringing with them new tracks from their highly anticipated follow-up to their debut Dear World.
The supporting line-ups for these forthcoming shows sees some of the best in new, Australian Hardcore selected to warm up the stages for these hardcore heavyweights.
The tour starts in Adelaide with Machete getting the night underway at Light Square. At the Melbourne sideshow at Bang, Our Solace will jump onto the line up. Heading north, at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle Hazards, Downside and Distance join the bill.
In Sydney, the 18+ show at Hot Damn sees Boneless and 10 Paces take their turns, while at the all ages showPerspectives, Clipped Wings & Yo, Put That Bag Back On will kick things off at Chatswood Youth Centre.
The momentum continues up to Brisbane, with Milestones & Never Lose Sight taking their turns to warm up the stage at X&Y Bar, then at the all ages show at Tall Poppies Studio the biggest line up of the tour will seeSurvival & Post Blue as well as Thick Skin playing their last ever show!
In addition to the previously announced shows, two Perth shows are being added to the tour dates, meanings Bane fans in the west will not miss out on catching one of the most important hardcore bands of this generation. On Tuesday 7 May, YMCA HQ at Leederville will play host to an all age show with BLKOUT, No Regrets andTruthseeker kicking things off, while on Wednesday 8 May, Beat Nightclub will see The Others, Tikdoff andAgitated opening for the two bands with an 18+ show.
