In what might be the most colossal dump to be taken on the legacy of the Gallagher brothers, dark-pop wunderkind Billie Eilish has admitted that she doesn’t really know who Oasis is.

As The Daily Star reports, Eilish was asked about the prospect of an Oasis reunion, to which she replied “What is that? I don’t know them.

“Oasis? Aren’t they the brothers that hate each other or something?”

In Billie’s defence, she was literally eight years old when Oasis called it quits. In the ten years since the band’s demised, their musical legacy has undeniably been overshadowed by the incredible sibling feud between Noel and Liam.

Billie Eilish has, however, proven that she has a taste for metal. Eilish recently sported a shirt that collaged together imagery of Rob Zombie, Type-O Negative, and Cradle of Filth.

“Billie Eilish is certainly a unique and bad ass superstar who absolutely walks her own path,” Type-O Negative wrote in a Facebook post after photos of Eilish wearing the shirt emerged. “How awesome is it to see the Type O support!!”

In related news, Liam Gallagher recently tipped his hat to a bunch of Aussie acts. We recently sat down with the musician to discuss his latest record, Why Me? Why Not?. During the interview, Liam took the time to namecheck a few of his favourite Australian musicians.

“I mean, obviously you’ve got your Tame Impala. You’ve got Holy Holy. I like them, I’ve seen them a few times. Then, who’s that other band? Gang Of Youths! And you’ve got the DMA’s out there.”

“To be fair, you’ve always had a good music scene and it always seems to be healthy, even though we don’t get to hear all of it. It just seems to be a really good, healthy music scene so fair play to yas, man.”
