Billie Joe Armstrong covers ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ in quarantine

Billie Joe Armstrong has unveiled a very timely cover of 'I Think We're Alone Now' amid COVID-19 isolation.

Green Day have been forced to cancel a bunch of scheduled tour dates amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It appears as though frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has spent his time in self-quarantine running amock in the studio. Earlier today, the musician unveiled an apt cover of ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’.
“While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music,” Armstrong wrote on Instagram on Monday. “I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together.”Listen to the cover below.
