Bliss n Eso are making moves—dropping not one, but two albums this year.
After their ARIA #1 hit The Moon (The Light Side), the Sydney trio are already gearing up for the follow-up. The Moon (The Dark Side) lands on Friday, October 3rd—just a month after their last release.
“We’re super stoked to announce our 2nd album for 2025: THE MOON (THE DARK SIDE). Albums are like movies to us and this new one is the epic sequel to the album we dropped earlier this year with THE MOON (THE LIGHT SIDE) where we take the listener deeper into space and time on a wild ride us. Get ready… cuz it’s time to orbit to the dark side of the moon!”
To top it off, they’ve dropped a fresh single, “Chemical Heart GEED U”, a bold new take on Grinspoon’s Aussie rock classic. The band call it a future “live show destroyer,” inspired by their long-time love for the song’s drum loop and chorus.

“When we first heard ‘Chemical Heart’ back in the day it immediately stood out from other rock songs at the time – this is because of the use a sampled break beat that was looped over the iconic guitar line – something rarely used in traditional rock. For us as hip-hop artists this really resonated with us as the breakbeat is core to the essence of hip hop that we grew up on. So, the idea to flip it up came naturally to us as we could already hear how rap would work seamlessly with the song.”
“When Grinspoon gave us their blessing to sample the song years later we knew we had something seriously special. Bringing our raps and modern-day hip-hop production to this classic just fit perfectly… Seriously can’t wait to play this banger live!”
