The Bluesfest 2014 playing times have been revealed for the event’s 25th Silver Anniversary Edition.

With nearly 90 artists playing across six stages to help celebrate the iconic Byron Bay music festival’s quarter-century birthday, there’s a lot of logistics to account for in putting together the timetable.

The playing times for Bluesfest 2014, taking place at the the multi-award winning Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm over five days during April’s Easter long weekend, features two headline sets from Dave Matthews Band on the Mojo stage on the third and fifth nights of the festival, as well as closing performances from Erykah Badu, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer.

The Crossroads Stage features headline sets from Buddy Guy, Doobie Brothers, Jeff Beck, Michael Franti, and Elvis Costello & The Imposters, while the likes of Gary Clark Jnr, Morcheeba, and Govt Mule star over on the Jimbalaya stage. Plus there’s the return of the fabled Juke Joint stage and its raft of ‘pure’ Blues artists.

Despite announcing the Bluesfest 2014 playing times overnight, organisers note there are still a few ‘Not Yet Announced’ gaps in the schedule, which will be plugged in the next few weeks in the lead-up to the event kicking off.

In the meantime, there’s plenty of ways to navigate your own course through the massive 25th Anniversary bill, which also features such high-profile names as John Butler Trio, Joss Stone, Iron & Wine, India.Arie, Dr. John, Steve Earle, Jake Bugg, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes, Ozomatli – the list goes on.
