It would appear that Damon Albarn has become a workaholic. Barely have Gorillaz left the country after their epic tour, and with the release of a new Gorillaz album on Christmas Day building up anticipation with fans, comes the news that he’s heading in to the studio with his band mates to record a new Blur album.

t’ll be the first album recorded by the band as a four piece since 1999’s 13. Guitarist Graham Coxon walked out of the band during the recording of what would become 2003’s Think Tank. Albarn’s co-conspirator in Gorillaz Jamie Hewlett has said that the Australian tour might have been their last gigs for a long time so it looks like Blur are back for good – let’s get ready to party like it’s 1995!
