In August last year, rumours began to circulate that former AC/DC members Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd were back in the band. The pair were photographed outside a Canadian recording studio where AC/DC recorded their last three records.

On Monday, LA grindcore band Terrorizer might’ve let slip that the band have reunited. In a post shared on Facebook, Terrorizer claim that they bumped into Johnson at an airport when returning from their European tour. Terrorizer shared:

“We ran into Brian Johnson from AC/DC at the airport today after the flight home and we asked him about the rumours of him being on the new AC/DC album.

He said, ‘Yes’ and that he is ‘sick of denying it’. So that was a cool surprise ending to the tour.”

Brian Johnson was forced to leave AC/DC in 2016 due to hearing problems. Upon his departure from the band, Johnson penned a lengthy statement explaining his decision to leave. “I cannot imagine going forward without being part of [AC/DC], but for now I have no choice. I wish to assure our fans that I am not retiring.” Read the full statement here.
