With Brisbane Festival winding down this week, we decided to put together a nifty guide to all the events you can still catch, you’re not gonna want to miss this one.

Brisbane Festival Closing Party

We begin with the end. Brisbane Festival announced the lineup for their closing party a coupla weeks back and it is bursting at the seams with homegrown talent. Rock heavyweights and hometown heroes Violent Soho will be headlining the event, bringing their thrashing punk sounds to the Riverstage. The Brisbane Festival Closing Party will highlight a bunch of burgeoning Aussie talent, alt-rockers WAAX, indie luminaries Methyl Ethyl, neo-soul songstress Meg Mac and pop up-and-comer Mane will all be hitting the stage.

There will also be an awesome lineup of DJ sets accompanying these acts. Tired Lion DJs will be bringing the 90s rock tunes, Last Dinosaurs are hitting the decks fresh off the release of their first single in three years and I Oh You DJs (aka, the masterminds behind Violent Soho, DMA’s and DZ Deathrays) will be showing off their vast musical knowledge.
