March is set to be one amazing month for music lovers in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, with the Brunswick music festival revealing its full lineup today.
Last year, the 2019 edition of the Brunswick Music Festival began to heat up nice and early, with organisers giving us a sneak peek as to this year’s lineup. With the likes of Snail Mail and J Mascis on the bill, we already knew it was going to be a big one, but we had no idea it would be this big.
Announced today, the full lineup of the BMF sees some pretty huge acts taking over small venues with their immense sound.
While Twerps’ Martin Frawley will take up residence every night at a Sydney Road shopfront, we’ll also see the festival’s inaugural Artist In Residence, HEXDEBT, opening their studio for rehearsals, a workshop, and a special performance with a chamber orchestra.
We’ve got a Dolly Parton Tribute night featuring the likes of Alexander Gow (Oh Mercy), Emily Lubitz, Emma Donovan, Loretta Miller, and Sarah Mary Chadwick, while the Moreland Hotel and Estonian House will both open their doors to names like Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, The Murlocs, The Necks, Stella Donnelly, and Cosmic Psychos.
