Shock Records is thrilled to announce that Melbourne band Buckley Ward has just become the newest member of their growing family.
So Pretend – the brand new album from this alt-pop five piece – will be released by Shock Records in early 2012. It’s an adventure into lush melodies and pounding rhythms that will catch in your throat, without a whiff of the stove-piped pretender.
Carefully crafted, cultivated, self-recorded and self-produced, So Pretend was mixed by the legendary hand of Tony Espie (Architecture in Helsinki, The Avalanches).
To give you a sneaky peak at things to come, Buckley Ward have released the album’s title track for free download on their website, so check it out.
Supporting the release of So Pretend, Buckley Ward are joining some of the biggest talents on the Australian music scene over the next few months.
