Sleater-Kinney, Wild Flag and Portlandia’s Carrie Browstein will make her directorial debut with a comedic film named Fairy Godmother.
Deadline reports the film was written by Chiara Atik, and as the official logline explains: “When sought-after Fairy Godmother Faye is hired by a mind-bogglingly gorgeous teenage client, Kenzie, to find her true love with the hottest prince in the land, Faye finds herself facing an unfamiliar challenge when the prince starts falling for her instead.”
Whiplash producer Helen Estabrook will be producing the project, which is yet to receive a release date.
