It looks as if we might be getting new Chance the Rapper music sooner than anticipated.
The acclaimed rapper has teased that fans can expect a new album from him this winter. Chance tweeted “July” and shared a video on Instagram divulged “I’ve been making music, you’re gonna get that shit when I’m ready.”
Chance’s manager Pat has also confirmed that the album will arrive in July via Twitter:

The forthcoming record with be the first solo full-length Chance The Rapper record since 2016’s Coloring Book. Colouring Book took out the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2016. In 2016 and 2017, Chance released two collaborative records with Jeremih Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama and Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama: Re-Wrapped.
Last month, Chance The Rapper opened up about his controversial collaboration with R. Kelly, sharing that his decision to work with him was “a mistake.” “I apologize to all of his survivors for working with him and for taking this long to speak out.” Read more about it now.
