Alongside dropping one of our favourite records of the year, Young Enough, and following it up with an equally stunning EP, Supermoon, Charly Bliss have perfected the art of creating fire content. Their latest offering is a perfectly crafted masterpiece worthy of Lynchian-level praise.

Guitarist Spencer Fox took to Twitter to share a video of himself, in character as Tony Soprano, singing the praises of production polymath Jack Antonoff — whilst throwing some subtle shade at Chad duo The Chainsmokers.

“Good music production is not about the producer, it’s about the artist. Big fucken hotshots, Chainsmokers coming in and making it all about themselves. It’s not about that.

“Jack Antonoff, he understands. He makes Taylor Swift sound more like Taylor Swift. He makes Lana Del Rey sound more like Lana Del Rey.”

Witness it in all it’s glory below.

Last month, Charly Bliss dropped their dreamy EP, Supermoon. The EP was recorded in the same sessions that birthed the bands Young Enough.

“Making Young Enough was the most fulfilling creative experience I’ve had thus far,” shared frontwoman Eva Hendricks at the time.  “Not only because I’m proud of the songs that ended up on the record, but also because I’m proud of myself and my bandmates for putting in an obsessive amount of work into making sure the album would be the best it could be.

“We wrote too many songs and slowly whittled it down to the ones that told the most vivid and concise story. We’re so excited to release the Supermoon EP, a small collection of songs that helped us get there. We recorded them at the same time as the rest of the record, before we knew which songs would make it on. I think they fill in the cracks and enhance the narrative of Young Enough and show you how we got where we were going. Enjoy!”
