We might still be three months away from the biggest date in the Aussie festival calendar, but now some of your favourite Splendour In The Grass acts have just locked in some highly-anticipated sideshows.
After a very publicised cancellation of last year’s Australian tour, Splendour In The Grass headliner Childish Gambino has today revealed that his dedicated Aussie fans will get a chance to see him in action later this year.
Announced just days after a mesmerising Coachella performance, Gambino has revealed that in addition to appearances at Splendour and Adelaide’s Spin Off Festival, punters in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney will get the chance to get down to his iconic tunes.
Meanwhile, American R&B star SZA will also be hitting up Aussie stages, complementing her trip up to Byron Bay with some shows in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Coming after a stellar year which saw a huge collab with Kendrick Lamar for the Black Panther soundtrack’s ‘All The Stars’, SZA’s shows are undoubtedly going to be some of the biggest on offer this year.
Last, but not least, Atlanta hip-hop sensation Russ will also be bringing his unique mix of rhymes and beats to the country, performing headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
Releasing his second record, ZOO, back in September, Russ will be returning to Australia later this year to show local audiences just what they’ve been missing out on since he first took a trip down under two years ago.
