That’s right folks, Disney is coming back again this year at their D23 Expo to induct some fresh new faces as Disney Legends.

One of these lucky legends, it has just been announced, will be the one and only Christina Aguilera.

The artist joins a legendary line-up set to be inducted at this years D23 Expo, August 23.

The awards will occur at Anaheim Convention Center, and will induct legends such as Robert Downey Jr., Hans Zimmer, James Earl Jones, and Bettle Midler.

Since 1987 when the Disney Legends accolade began, Disney has inducted 289 Legends.

Christina will be honoured for her time as a member of The All New Mickey Mouse Club as a Mouseketeer.

She will also be remembered for her cover of ‘Reflection’ which is played during the credits of ‘Mulan’ and can be spotted on the soundtrack.

This achievement will fit easily amongst multiple Grammy Awards and a crazy 43 million records sold.

Other inductees include legends ranging from live-action films to animated classics.

Robert Downey Jr. will finally be accoladed as a Disney Legend this year, after his many years as Iron Man in the classic Marvel films.

Now that Disney has ownership of Marvel, the awards can finally be his.

Robert is also set to star as the titular character in 2020’s Disney film ‘The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle’.

Alongside him will be Ming-Na Wen, voice of the iconic Fa Mulan.

The star has also landed roles in ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and ‘Phineas and Ferb’.

Christina Aguilera has enjoyed a three-decade-long career, and we are excited for her to claim her title as a Disney Legend.

It is rumoured that the star may be performing her iconic rendition of ‘Reflection’, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
