Music label Chrysalis has been sold to the German-owned music conglomerate BMG. Founded by music industry legend Chris Wright, the label has signed artists such as Blondie and David Bowie. Veteran Wright says he’s going to be going in to ‘semi-retirement’ but will still be involved in the running of the business after selling the company he founded for almost $175 million.

Wright says of improving his golf handicap; “I hope it is less work than as executive chairman of Chrysalis but I might be busier than I think. I’m still at that point in my life that when I’m not in the office I have nothing else to do but go into the office. I will be in Monday to Friday as long as there is an office for me to go into.”
