With the 2013 Reclink Community Cup right around the cor- ner and the final preparations taking place, Melbourne has taken on a buzz of excitement. The big match on Sunday 23rd June at Elsternwick Park will see PBS 106.7FM / Triple R 102.7FM Megahertz and the Rockdogs fight it out to see who will take home the 2013 cup. And after last year’s draw, there’s added hunger for both teams for victory this year.
Kicking the day’s musical treats off after gates open at noon will be Justine Clarke who shall be entertaining the mums and dads just as much as the kids with her special brand of retro pop. The Rebelles band will ably back up Justine. Following is local act Super Wild Horses, then hitting stage at half time will be King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard. Post match entertainment will be Beasts Of Bourbon performing what will no doubt be a killer set proving yet again they are one of the most ferocious live acts in Australian musical his- tory.
Adding their own colour and movement and panache to the oval will be SBS TV’s Dugald from Rockwiz, Rusty from Scared Weird Little Guys and Dino Marnika, who will be overseeing the game as the umpires on the day.
