Two-time ARIA nominee Fanny Lumsden has today unveiled her new single ‘Peed In The Pool.’

The Golden Guitar and CMC Award winner has also announced her signing to Cooking Vinyl Records.

She therefore becomes label mates with the likes of Billy Bragg, Lucinda Williams and Patty Griffin.

“I didn’t see this coming however I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with such a motivated and compassionate team in CVA”said Lumsden

“Myself and Dan (Freeman) have been so very DIY and finding a team of people that really care about the songs, the work, and those small details like we do was really important,” she continued.

“Joining forces with CVA will only amplify what we have built with Red Dirt Road Records and we are very excited about getting new music into the world”.

Lumsden says the new single, produced by Matt Fell, as all about “embracing chaos.”

Born and bred on a farm in Western NSW, 600km from the nearest city, Fanny Lumsden grew up riding horses, helping on the farm, and living a seemingly idyllic Aussie country upbringing with her family.

Music was a big part of the Lumsden household with everyone playing instruments and singing and people who know her well say there was never any doubt that Lumsden was a born show pony.

The show pony is currently embarking on her annual Country Halls Tour which heads to the Spingdale Memorial Hall and Gunbar Hall this weekend.
