Nominees for the 2019 Toyota Golden Guitar Awards have today been announced, and some of your favourite Aussie artists are set to take home the prestigious accolade.
Country music icon Kasey Chambers and The Fireside Disciples have received four nominations for their hit single ‘The Campfire Song’, dominating with a whopping seven nominations in total.
Both established and emerging country artists alike make an appearance on the nominee list, with legendary artists John Williamson, Lee Kernaghan, Tommy Emmanuel and Troy Cassar-Daley still going as strong as ever.
They are joined by husband and wife duo Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont, Adam Harvey, and Tasmania’s The Wolfe Brothers, all making their mark as they pick up nominations across a number of categories.
The announcement officially launches the 47th annual Toyota Country Music Festival, closing in on a momentous anniversary for the world-renowned regional event which has put Tamworth well and truly on the map. The festival is recognised today as the nation’s longest running music awards.
The festival isn’t far away, kicking off on the 18th of January next year, so don’t miss out on tickets!
