It’s been a big couple of months for Australian music icon Dan Sultan. He’s worked on tracks with A.B. Original, written and recorded a new album, and now announced a nation-wide tour.

It’s been nearly a year since Sultan wrapped up his last string of live shows, and he’s just teased us with 30 seconds of music from the first single off his forthcoming album.

“It’s about having too much of a good thing,” Sultan explains. “It’s about excess, basically, in all its forms. But it’s also about getting older, and about being more comfortable in my own skin.”

Unfortunately for us, we may have to wait another month before we hear the song in full, while the album, titled Magnetic, is set to be energetic, emotional and filled with soul-pop goodness.

Sultan has announced his national tour with special guests Caiti Baker and Morgan Bain, and tickets are on sale from 9am local time Friday, 16th September.
