After a multifaceted year that included the operating of an underground speakeasy/venue in a bookshop in Melbourne, living in a bread truck in Portland and brief jaunts playing his songs for audiences in Europe and America, Darren Hanlon will stop in a town near you this December to play his ritualistic Christmas shows.
This year sees Darren jetting around the country, bringing his unique brand of Christmas live performances to Fremantle, Adelaide and Hobart as well as up along the east coast of Australia with dates in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane.
As always Darren will perform solo, playing stripped back versions of the songs from his extensive canon with a little help from various surprise guests. This year he’ll be showcasing new songs for an upcoming album set to be released in early 2013, as well as all the old favourites from past performances.
