Dashboard Confessional performed alongside the Jonas Brothers at Fenway Park last night, delivering renditions of “Vindicated” and “Take a Breath”.
The US songwriter, real name Chris Carrabba, described the collaboration as “nothing short of incredible,” praising Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, as well as their team, for their hospitality.
The concert also featured performances from Boyz Like Girls, JoJo, Jesse McCartney, Franklin Jonas, Ruston Kelly, and Marshmello, adding to the star-studded lineup.
“Still on a cloud after last night! Getting to perform Vindicated and Take A Breath with the @jonasbrothers at @fenwaypark was nothing short of incredible,” Carrabba shared on social media.
“A big thank you to not only @joejonas @nickjonas and @kevinjonas but their entire team for their kindness and hospitality. To also get to see my friends in @boyslikegirls @iamjojo @jessemccartney @franklinjonas @rustonkelly and @marshmello perform was the cherry on top. It was an incredibly special evening that my family and I will hold close. Very thankful.”

Carrabba isn’t the only act to share the stage with the Jonas Brothers recently. Australian musician Dean Lewis made a surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ Greetings From Your Hometown tour opener at MetLife Stadium earlier this month, performing their new collaboration Loved You Better.
Sharing his excitement on social media, Lewis wrote about the collaboration: “Incredible last 24 hours releasing a song with the @jonasbrothers in NYC. They are quite literally the nicest people I’ve ever met, and somehow so down to earth?! I’m so proud of this song, Joe DM’d me, I had this song idea that I really liked. I sent it to him, and we all worked on it together it made it special. When I got their vocals back I had goosebumps. The songs called “loved you better” and we are all excited for you to hear it. The response has genuinely been huge and I’m feeling so excited about this one! I only go by Dean Jonas now.”
Nick Jonas explained on TalkShopLive how the collaboration came together: “There’s a song we did with Dean Lewis, which is a great story. Joe and Dean connected and sent some songs over, and one of them was ‘Loved You Better’. Dean was kind enough to hold the song back from his own album so we could include it on ours. I just have to give him flowers, it’s such a kind thing, and probably my favourite ballad we’ve done in our last 5–6 albums.”
