But if we’re going beyond the completely obvious, KGATLW have taken all the right elements from bands like The Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Thee Oh Sees and The Beets, but added their own vintage surfer twist.

The band describe their single ‘Dead Beat’ as being “as subtle as an uppercut and equally affronting,” a description we totally agree with, because whoever said music had to be subtle to be good?
