Legendary US punks the Dead Kennedys have announced an Australian tour. There’s a catch though – iconic singer Jello Biafra won’t be joining them. The outspoken front man left the band in the late 1990s after legal wrangles over royalty payments, and has since pursued spoken word activities as well as running to be Presidential candidate for the US Greens Party.

Hence, touring down under in April will be East Bay Ray, D. H. Peligro, Klaus Flouride with Ron “Skip” Greer on vocals. Although the band will still no doubt be pumping out classics such as ‘California Uber Alles’ and ‘Too Drunk To Fuck’, you have to wonder if it really is the Dead Kennedys? Could the Sex Pistols reunite yet again without John Lydon?
