Anticipation is rapidly building for superstar UK duo Disclosure to unveil their sophomore album, Caracal, and now the Lawrence brothers have unveiled another taste of their follow-up to 2013’s universally acclaimed Settle, titled ‘Willing & Able’.
The track is the fourth to be shared from Disclosure’s new album, following on from ‘Omen’ featuring Sam Smith, ‘Holding On’ featuring Gregory Porter, and ‘Moving Mountains’ featuring Brendan Reilly. Meanwhile, ‘Willing & Able’ features an appearance from UK R&B singer Kwabs.
Tone Deaf recently caught up with talented young Brisbane vocalist and producer Jordan Rakei, a relative newcomer who is set to appear on Caracal as one of the album’s star-studded list of collaborators, which also includes Jimmy Napes, Lorde, Miguel, and The Weeknd.
While Jordan was obviously tight-lipped about what fans can expect from Caracal, which is slated to drop on 25th September, he said the Lawrence boys have something very special up their sleeves for their sophomore release.
“I’ve heard bit and pieces from the album. I obviously don’t want to reveal too much, but it’s definitely an exciting release,” Jordan told Tone Deaf. “They are bringing soul back to the forefront in a fresh and progressive way!”
