World-renowned Australian DJ Adam Sky has passed away while in Bali, succumbing to injuries sustained in an accident while attempting to help an injured friend.

For years now, Adam Sky – the musical moniker of 42-year-old Adam Neat – has served as one of the most respected DJs in the global dance scene.

Having performed at events the world over, and shared the stage with heavyweights like Fatboy Slim, David Guetta, Paul Oakenfold, and more, the Aussie musician was a recognisable name in the genre, pulling in massive crowds at every one of his performances.

Sadly, news has now come forward that Adam Sky has tragically passed away following an accident while in Bali.

According to the official Facebook page of the Melbourne-born, Singapore-based DJ, Adam Sky passed away on Saturday while attempting to come to the aid of an injured friend.

“It is with great regret that we can confirm Adam Neat was involved in a fatal accident while trying to help a friend who had suffered multiple fractures in Bali on Saturday 4th May 2019,” the post explained.

“We ask you to respect the families privacy at this moment while we all come to terms with our tragic loss.”

According to news.com.au, local police have revealed that Adam Sky passed away while coming to the aid of friend Zoia Lukiantceva, who had fallen from a private pool area, breaking her leg in the process.

While coming to Ms. Lukiantceva’s aid, the Aussie musician reportedly crashed through a glass door at the Hillstone Villas Resort, slicing his arm and passing away from blood loss caused by the injury.

Police are reportedly still investigating some circumstances surrounding Adam Sky’s death, though no further information has been revealed at the current time.
