Can’t make it to Download Festival next year? Fret not, with the annual hard rock celebration today announcing a bunch of sideshows that will be heading your way instead.

Barely one month ago, music lovers around Australia were shocked to learn of the calibre of stunning artists making their way to our shores as part of the 2020 Download Festival.

Boasting a reunited My Chemical Romance, the likes of Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, Ministry, Clutch, and so much more turned this into an event you definitely won’t want to miss.

However, with Download Festival remaining an exclusive event to folks in Melbourne and Sydney, disappointment would’ve been high for some fans as they realised a chance to see their favourite acts would require an interstate trip to catch them live.

Now though, the good news you’ve been waiting for has arrived, with a bunch of these stunning artists announcing some highly-anticipated sideshows while in the country.

Taking place next March, punters around the country will get a rare chance to catch headline shows from the likes of Deftones, Ministry, In Flames, Testament, and Mongolian rockers The HU.

It doesn’t quite end there though, with Baroness joining Deftones in Brisbane, and Darkcell hopping on the bill for Ministry’s gig at The Tivoli.
