Long time no see, Flume. How’ve you been? You been busy? Oh, you’ve got a new single for us?
Yep, old mate Harvey Stretton has emerged from his mini hiatus with a fresh new track called ‘Some Minds’, complete with a video.
It’s the first thing we’ve heard from Flume since 2013. If you were waiting for him to go straight back into banger mode, then think again.
Featuring Miike Snow vocalist Andrew Wyatt, ‘Some Minds’ sees Flume departing from his trademark sound and opting for a more soulful, cerebral cut to mark his return.
While there’s no mention of an impending album in the press release, one could safely assume his long-awaited followup to his 2012 debut is just around the corner.
